On Jupiter

I just returned to Haiti after four glorious days in Jupiter, Florida, with, well, quality people.  Mentally, it was as far from Haiti as the 7th planet from the sun.  There was story-telling, Staceysgiving cooking, beach walking, kayaking, and gold lame dress wearing (Wholesale. From China).

My favorite part was creeping out onto the balcony with the first light of day with a cup of coffee...watching the intercoastal waterway warm into the morning... knowing the girls would join me as they awoke, one by one.
